Now everything is set up nicely and all we have to do is rotate the meshobject. Activate the animate-button and create some keyframes for rotation, always rotate in 90degrees-steps (90,180,270, whatever in any direction). Don't forget to insert some pauses for the cube to stand still between the transitions. In pic 31 you see the rotated cube in perspective viewport and viewed through the camera. Pic 32 shows the transition with some 2D elements slapped on top (for convenience I used the font "deejay supreme" to create the turntables and bruce lee).

Voila, that´s it. It's actually rather simple. I hope this tutorial will help you use the technique as an inspiration for different, new and exciting effects. I'm sure you can create all kinds of crazy transitions using orthographic view and nonshaded materials. Try different types of objects and different ways of animating them.
If somebody knows how to do the modelling and mapping similarly easy with other software such as Cinema 4D then please let me know, so that i can create other versions of this tutorial for different software.
Good luck.
